Privacy Policy for ClawRemote

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the ClawRemote mobile application ("App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Because our app does not rely on centralized servers to manage your gateway data, your information remains fully in your control.

2. Camera Permissions

The App requests access to your device's Camera (android.permission.CAMERA / iOS camera). This permission is strictly used for scanning QR codes and optional chat photo attachments on your device.

• No Data Collection: We do not record, collect, store, or transmit camera imagery to ClawRemote servers for analytics or advertising.
• Local / gateway-bound processing: QR pairing is processed on-device. Chat attachments are sent only to the OpenClaw gateway you choose to connect to.

3. Microphone Permissions

Native Talk mode uses the microphone for on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed for voice input on your device; agent replies may use gateway TTS. We do not operate a separate ClawRemote cloud STT service that stores your voice.

4. Authentication & Storage

ClawRemote stores device cryptographic keys and pairing gateway configurations locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. These are never uploaded to ClawRemote-operated external servers.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
